Headrest (1) comprising: a frame (2); an energy absorption element (3) associated at the top of said frame; a padding block (4) overmoulded over said element; a cover (5) overmoulded by said block, said cover comprising: a first lower format (6) provided with an injection mouth (8) for a foam precursor mixture, said format comprising a first appearance layer (9) and a sub-layer (10) of elastically compressible porous foam with a thickness of less than 5 mm; a second format (7) comprising a second appearance layer (11) and devoid of sub-layer, said headrest further comprising at least one degassing pad (12), said pad being: based on elastically compressible porous foam; fixed on said element opposite to and at a distance from said second format.
