The communication method applied to remote driving comprises: acquiring PDU session parameters respectively corresponding to a plurality of remote driving modes of a vehicle terminal, wherein the plurality of remote driving modes comprise a first remote driving mode and a second remote driving mode; when the vehicle terminal is controlled to perform remote driving by means of a PDU session parameter corresponding to the first remote driving mode, receiving mode conversion information sent by an application function entity, wherein the mode conversion information is used for instructing to switch from the first remote driving mode to the second remote driving mode; and according to the mode conversion information, controlling the vehicle terminal to switch to a PDU session parameter corresponding to the second remote driving mode so as to perform remote driving.
