Systems and Methods for Determining and Managing Battery Degradation

According to some embodiments disclosed in this disclosure, a battery management system may comprise a data acquirer configured to acquire driving data related to driving of a vehicle and battery data related to a battery pack of the vehicle; and a controller configured to determine whether regenerative braking of the vehicle occurs based on the driving data and the battery data, derive statistical data related to the occurrence of the regenerative braking, and predict a degree of degradation of the battery pack based on the statistical data.
