The invention relates to an assembly (50) for an aircraft comprising a mast (12) with a frame (12a) and two side walls (12b) pierced with a window (18), a tank (102a-b), a hanging system (210) arranged to suspend the tank (102a-b) in front of the windows (18), a carriage (202) presenting a cradle for the tank (102a-b), the carriage (202) being movable in translation between a positioning position where the cradle is in front of the windows (18) and under the tank (102a-b) and a use position where the cradle is not in front of the windows (18), fastening elements to fix the tank (102a-b) to the cradle, and a locking system arranged to block the carriage (202) in use position. Such an assembly allows simple and rapid removal and positioning of the tank inside the mast.
