DAMPER CONTROL SYSTEM
DRIVE
April 6, 2016
A damper control system (22, 23, 24, 25) for suspension of an automotive vehicle (9) comprising a pitch prediction block (10) and a control calculation block (30). The pitch prediction block (10) receives the longitudinal speed, the master cylinder pressure and the engine power setpoint at an instant t0, then calculates a pitch motion at an instant t1 as a function of the longitudinal speed, the master cylinder pressure and the engine power setpoint. The control calculation block (30) deduces a damper control value as a function of the estimated pitch motion and as a function of a pre-established map. The control calculation block (30) receives the residuals of pitch motions at instant t1 and deduces a time decay setpoint of the control value.
