Raising loading platform and method for controlling the same

Lift platforms (10) have a loading platform (12) that can be raised, lowered and swiveled. The individual movements are controlled manually. This requires a great deal of practice and skill. Furthermore, in the case of wedge-shaped loading platforms (12), after lowering to the ground (20), a so-called ground leveling is required. This has hitherto been accomplished through complex mechanics. The invention provides for assigning to the loading platform (12), in addition to an inclination sensor (18), at least one acceleration sensor (19). With the acceleration sensor (19), it can be determined whether movements, in particular the raising and lowering, of the loading platform (12) have ceased or been interrupted. In this way, for example, ground leveling can occur automatically. In the reversal of the ground leveling, the inclination sensor (18) determines whether the loading platform (12) has been swiveled up sufficiently high. The inclination sensor (18), together with the acceleration sensor (19), leads to at least partially automated control of the loading platform (12), to monitoring of the movement sequences and to at least partial automation of the movement sequences and the succession thereof.
