METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A CANTILEVER LIFT
DRIVE
July 27, 2016
Hydraulic lift platforms (10) serve to facilitate the loading and unloading of vehicles with particularly heavy objects. The raising and pivoting as well as the lowering and stowing of the hydraulic lift platforms (10) or loading platform (13) is typically performed by the same hydraulic system or by the same drives. Since these drives are correspondingly powerful for raising loads, there is a risk that when stowing the loading platform (13) on the superstructure (12) or under the loading platform (13), if timely termination of the lifting travel is neglected, the loading platform (13), the lifting mechanism or the loading platform (13) may be damaged. The invention provides a method for controlling a hydraulic lift platform (10), by which the hydraulic lift platform (10) can be operated safely. For this purpose, the hydraulic lift platform (10) is controlled as a function of an electrical voltage of the at least one drive measured during operation of the hydraulic lift platform (13).
