February 24, 2016
The invention relates to an electromagnetically actuated valve for metering a gas, in particular for metering a gaseous fuel into an intake tract of an internal combustion engine, comprising a valve housing (1) in which an electromagnet (3) cooperating with a stroke-movable armature (2) is accommodated for actuating a valve closing element (4), whose stroke movement controls at least one flow opening (6) formed in a valve seat element (5), which connects an inflow region (7) with an outflow region (8). According to the invention, at least one flow-limiting component (9) is installed in the inflow region (7). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing such a valve.
