DRIVE
February 3, 2016
A shading device of this type having a flexible shading structure, with two vehicle-fixed, non-parallel lateral guide arrangements that flank a displacement path of the shading structure on opposite sides, with a dimensionally stable extension profile that is arranged at a front end face area of the shading structure in the extension direction, whereby drive means are assigned to the extension profile for parallel displacement of the extension profile, as well as with a bendable transverse guide strand that extends at the front end face area of the shading structure across its width and immerses in associated receiving spaces in the region of the opposite lateral guide arrangements, is known. According to the invention, the extension profile comprises a central part and two lateral telescoping sections guided in the central part, which are provided with sliding guide grooves extending along the extension profile for the lateral guide strand sections of the transverse guide strand, which ensure relative linear displaceability between the telescoping sections and the guide strand sections while simultaneously providing support against deflection of the guide strand sections. Application in rear window arrangements of passenger motor vehicles.
