DRIVE
February 3, 2016
A shading device of this type with a flexible shading structure, with two vehicle-fixed, non-parallel lateral guide arrangements that flank a displacement path of the shading structure on opposite sides, as well as with a dimensionally stable extension profile that is displaceable in parallel at its opposite end faces by means of a respective guide slide, and wherein lateral shading structure sections dip into vehicle-fixed lateral receiving spaces depending on the displacement path of the shading structure, which receiving spaces are assigned to the opposite guide arrangements, is known. According to the invention, each lateral guide arrangement and the associated receiving space are integrated in a respective vehicle-fixed housing structure that has a common guide slot for passage of the guide slide from the extension profile to the drive means and of the respective lateral shading structure section to the receiving space, wherein the guide slot runs along the displacement path of the shading structure and is open toward it. Application for rear window arrangements of motor vehicles.
