TRACTION BATTERY FOR MOBILE WORK MACHINE

In a traction battery for a battery-electrically driven mobile work machine, in particular a counterweight forklift truck, which is designed as a high-performance battery and has a battery tray (2), within which all components of the high-performance battery are located, at least one wall surface (3) of the battery tray (2) has such a large wall thickness made of heavy material and thereby forms additional weight that the traction battery has essentially the same total weight as a lead-acid traction battery of the same external dimensions.
