This application provides a powertrain and a vehicle, and relates to the field of electric vehicles. The powertrain includes a reducer and a motor controller, and a housing of the powertrain includes a reducer housing and an electric control groove. The reducer housing is configured to accommodate a cooling member and a gear shaft assembly of the reducer. The electric control groove is configured to accommodate functional components of the motor controller. An outer peripheral wall of the reducer housing includes a first base plate and a first side plate, and an axial bottom wall of the reducer housing includes an output bearing groove. The first side plate protrudes from the first base plate and away from the output bearing groove. The first side plate is a groove wall of the electric control groove, and the first base plate is a groove bottom of the electric control groove. The cooling member includes at least one hole, and the hole faces one of the first base plate or the first side plate. In this application, coolant is delivered to the first side plate and the first base plate, to cool the electric control groove and the functional components, thereby reducing a risk of an overheating failure of an internal component of the powertrain, and improving performance of the entire vehicle.
