A carrier arrangement for a trailer hitch or a load carrier, comprising a cross member (20) and at least one bracket (11, 13) arranged on the cross member (20) for a trailer hitch or for a coupling part of a load carrier and, if necessary, side carriers connected to the cross member (20) for mounting on a rear of a vehicle body. In the carrier arrangement, it is provided that at least two of the components of the carrier arrangement (10) or at least two of their component parts are connected by means of at least one bending lug (50, 60) arranged on a first of the components or the component parts with the second of the components or the component parts, and that the at least one bending lug (50, 60) is connected to the second component or the second component part by means of a material-bonded connection and/or by means of a connection comprising a screw (57) or a rivet (56).
