The present invention relates to cold flow reduced polymers with good processing behavior, which have a silane-containing carboxyl group of the formula (I) at the polymer chain end, wherein R1, R2 are the same or different and represent H, alkyl, alkoxy, cycloalkyl, cycloalkoxy, aryl, aryloxy, alkaryl, alkaryloxy, aralkyl or aralkoxy residues, which may contain one or more heteroatoms, preferably O, N, S or Si, R3, R4 are the same or different and represent H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkaryl or aralkyl residues, which may contain one or more heteroatoms, preferably O, N, S or Si, A represents a divalent organic residue which, in addition to C and H, may contain one or more heteroatoms, preferably O, N, S or Si.
