Elastic hollow profile

The section (10) has a seal lip (38) connected with a main section (14) in a connection region. A hollow chamber (44) compresses an arrangement of an electrical switching profile (46) or produces detectable pressure surge. The connection region is formed by two bars (40, 42), which are extended from the seal lip to the main section. A connection of the seal lip and the bars is formed with the main section such that the deflection of the seal lip is deformed to reduce a spacing between the bars. An inner surface of the hollow chamber is formed between the bars.
