The body has a profile body (1) formed as a hollow chamber profile (2) e.g. double chamber profile and three-chamber profile, and provided with predetermined deformation regions (3a-3c) that extend in a longitudinal axis direction in section-wise. Sections (4a-4c) are arranged in a region of a bend line of the hollow chamber profile that runs transverse to a longitudinal axis. The hollow chamber profile is bent and/or curved in the region of the bend line, and the deformation regions are formed by regions tapering towards a cross-section of the hollow chamber profile. An independent claim is also included for a rollover protection system comprising a receptacle that is designed as a hollow body.
