A seal arrangement

The arrangement has a pressure-dependent switchable sealing ring (1), which is formed as a pipe section (2) for sealed connection of two pipe ends (3,4). Each pipe end is part of a machine partt (5,6). A ring-shaped support body (7) has a mainly U-shaped profile, with a sealing lip (10,11) on each leg. The sealing lips extend in mainly axial direction and face each other. The gap between the lips forms a constriction for the fluid flow, and there is a throttle of air-permeable porous synthetic foam.
