Method for managing the braking of an aircraft
DRIVE
June 25, 2014
The method involves distributing wheels (R1-R12) equipped with brakes (F1-F12) in two distinct groups (G1-G3, G'1-G'3), and assigning variation laws of braking force to each group of the wheels according to depression of brake pedals, where each law defines a minimum threshold different from the depression of the brake pedals from which the braking force is generated. The distribution of the wheels is modified in response to occurrence of a predetermined event e.g. unavailability of brake or temperature of the brake increased with respect to temperatures of other brakes.
