The method involves distributing a set of wheels equipped with a brake into two distinct groups (G1-G3, G'1-G'3). A set of braking laws with regard to variation of braking force is assigned to each of the groups of the set of wheels according to depression of a set of brake pedals. The assignment of the laws to the groups is permuted with predetermined intervals according to a law of preset permutation. The law of permutation is amended in response to occurrence of a predetermined event.
