TRIM FOR THE WHEEL ARCH OF AN AUTOMOBILE VEHICULE

The invention relates to a trim element (26), such as a trim ring on a lateral wing, with an arcuate edge of a wheel opening (16) of a motor vehicle. The trim element comprising: an arcuate body having an external face and an internal face intended to run along the arcuate edge of a wheel opening of a lateral wing; fastening means (34) distributed along the arcuate body on the internal face; said fastening means having a vertical end (36). The vertical end of the fastening means (34) comprises a positioning hook (40) open vertically downward in order to vertically position the trim element (26) relative to a mounting orifice (28) of the wheel opening (16) during assembly of said trim element.
