The invention relates to a device for interior trim of a center pillar of a vehicle automobile body, comprising a trim piece (13) intended to be assembled on said pillar, and a curtain plate (19) mounted to slide on the internal face of the trim, for a device for adjusting the height position on the pillar of a seat belt guide member. The device is characterized in that the curtain plate (19) is fixed by a breakable fastening member (30) to the trim (13) in its upper position, which is adapted to be broken after assembly of the trim on the vehicle body pillar. The invention is applicable in the field of motor vehicles.
