Hinged window of a public transport vehicle

The window (1) has a window casement (2) connected with a body of a vehicle by a hinge (5) and latchably fixable in two different positions by a detent device (10), where the hinge is designed as a self-automatically resetting hinge and a film hinge such as elastomer link. The detent device is provided with a male detent link (11b) and two female detent links (12b, 12c), which comprise curved recesses corresponding to form of the male detent link. The detent device comprises a chamber (19) whose volume is reduced during transfer of the window casement into a tilted position.
