Manoeuvring drive with intelligent central unit

The maneuvering device has a central unit comprising two drive units (24) for driving the wheels (16) of the trailer (10). Each drive unit is equipped with a checking module for checking whether the driving requirements of the central unit are satisfied. A feedback path is provided for reporting the information related to the drive units to the central unit, when the driving requirements of the central unit are not satisfied. The angular position of engine shaft of drive units is synchronized by the central unit.
