Manoeuvring drive with additional brake module

The shunting drive has a central unit and two drive units (24) that are associated with the wheels (16) of a trailer (10). Each drive unit has an electric drive motor (26) with a mechanical brake assigned. An auxiliary brake module is provided, and an additional braking action of the drive units is generated with the mechanical brake. The central unit or the corresponding drive unit has a wakeup module.
