Trim part and method for producing a trim part

The invention relates to a trim part (1; 10; 20; 30), preferably for an interior of a vehicle, the trim part comprising a substantially rigid carrier (2; 12; 22; 32) including a front side and a rear side (34) and a covering (3; 13; 23; 35) arranged on the front side of the substrate. The substrate and the covering are connected to each other by a yarn seam (4; 16, 17; 25, 26; 36). Furthermore, the invention discloses a method for producing such a trim part and a sewing machine for making such a trim part.
