SHIFT-LOCK APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

A PHV-ECU (210) includes a power supply node (212), a switch (214) and a CPU (216). A voltage is applied to the power supply node (212) in accordance with a signal (IG) rendered active. When determining based on a connection state signal (CNCT) that a charging cable is unconnected or abnormal, the CPU (216) turns on the switch (214). A shift-lock ECU (220) includes output ports (222, 224) and a switch (230). A shift-lock solenoid (63) of a lock release mechanism (62) is connected between the output ports (222, 224). When a brake signal (BR) is rendered active, the switch (230) is turned on.
