Device for cooling a vehicle battery

The device has a cooling body (1) provided with cooling passages (2) for flow with a coolant. The cooling body is in thermal contact with battery cells such that heat is transferable from the battery cells to the cooling body. A coolant distributor (3) is provided at an end of the cooling body, where the cooling passages of the cooling body are open into the coolant distributor. The coolant distributor is formed as an injection molded part from plastic and comprises receiving areas (4) for receiving an adhesive (11) to form an adhesive bond between the coolant distributor and the cooling body.
