Vehicle battery system comprising a vehicle battery with multiple battery cells and a cooling device for cooling the vehicle battery, wherein the cooling device comprises a heat sink (1) with at least one cooling channel (2) for flow-through with a coolant, wherein the heat sink (1) is in thermal contact with the battery cells, so that heat from the battery cells is transferable to the heat sink (1), wherein at at least one end of the heat sink (1) a coolant distributor (3) is provided, wherein the coolant distributor (3) is bonded to the heat sink (1), wherein the coolant distributor (3) for bonding to the heat sink (1) has a receiving area (4), wherein adhesive (11) is applied in the receiving area (4), wherein the receiving area (4) of the coolant distributor (3) engages around connection ends (5) of the heat sink (1), wherein the connection ends (5) of the heat sink (1) are formed by limitations of the cooling channel (2) of the heat sink (1), wherein the end faces (8) of the limitations of the cooling channel (2) form stops for the coolant distributor (3), so that the limitations of the cooling channel (2) rest against contact surfaces (9) on the coolant distributor (3), wherein adhesive (11) in the receiving area (4) of the coolant distributor (3) is applied only, with respect to the cooling channel (2), radially outside the contact surfaces (9).
