A headset device (400) comprising: an earbud housing (610) including an earbud through-hole (612) and a first neck engaging surface (614); a primary housing (630) including a housing through-hole (632) and a second neck engaging surface (634); a threaded neck (620) including first and second neck surfaces, wherein the first neck surface is mated to the first neck engaging surface (614) and the second neck surface is mated to the second neck engaging surface (634); an earbud screw (690) that fits through the earbud through-hole (612) and is interlocked with the threaded neck (620) to fix the earbud housing (610) to the threaded neck (620); and a primary housing screw that fits through the housing through-hole (632) and is interlocked with the threaded neck (620) to fix the primary housing (630) to the threaded neck (620).
