A transport vehicle for transporting wind energy system rotor blades and/or tower segments is provided. The transport vehicle comprises a transport frame (600) with a base frame (610), a receiving frame (620) rigidly connected to the base frame (610) at a first angle, and a rotational adjustment unit (630) which is fastened at one end to the receiving frame (620) and has a blade adapter (650) at its second end for receiving a rotor blade or a tower segment. The base frame defines a base plane. The rotational adjustment unit (630) comprises at least one first rotational bearing (634), wherein a second angle is provided between the second rotational plane of the second rotational bearing (634).
