Sealing arrangement, method and fluid flow engine

The sealing arrangement (1) has several seals (4) arranged in peripheral direction so as to form closed seal ring. Each seal has honeycomb element (8) with several honeycombs separated from each other by walls, and base (10) having front side connected to honeycomb element, and rear side with plastically deformable securing element (14,16). A support (6) connects base to rotor or stator of turbomachine and has holding fixture (38,40) which receives securing element in a radial direction before plastic deformation and holds securing element after plastic deformation. An independent claim is included for method for manufacture of seal for sealing arrangement.
