Method and device for tracking a moving target object

The tracking method involves identifying a target object and labeling the target object in a visible spectrum with an invisible but in a selected wavelength area of the invisible spectrum of a light retro-reflective marker (10). The tracking of the selected and moving target object is provided with an imaging detecting device formed on a moving platform. The imaging detecting device is sensitive in the selected wavelength range of the invisible spectrum. An independent claim is included for a device for tracking a moving target object.
