Illuminated trim strip

The decorative strip (2) has a profile strip (5) with an outer surface (11) and an inner surface (8), where the outer surface is visible from outside. The decorative strip has a lighting unit (6). The profile strip is executed in a partial area to be illuminated in a translucent or transparent manner. The lighting unit is arranged on side the inner surface of the profile strip, in order to illuminate the profile strip.
