The load carrier has longitudinally extended carrier structures (24,25) that are arranged at the sides of a central longitudinal plane of vehicle. An upright cylinder-shaped support portion is arranged at one end region and is provided with a corresponding receptacle. The carrier structures are integrated as an integrated unit at another end region. A cross-carrier structure (34) is assembled structurally with a rear support structure (9). The cross-carrier structure is extended between opposite carrier structures.
