Emergency energy supply device and method for supplying emergency energy
DRIVE
November 14, 2012
The device has an energy storage unit (4) i.e. capacitor, comprising a plus pole (5) and a minus pole (6). A directional electric current meter (10) comprises a decoupling component, a bypass diode (11) and a current-measuring element (12) i.e. fuse. The bypass diode and the current-measuring element are connected in series, and the decoupling component is connected in parallel with series connection of the bypass diode and the current-measuring element. A decoupling component i.e. decoupling diode (9), is provided between the energy storage unit and a direct voltage circuit (1). An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying emergency power to a direct voltage circuit from an emergency power supply device.
