The device has an energy unit (10) formed as a fuel cell stack, and another energy unit (12) coupled to an energy control element e.g. direct current-direct current (DC/DC) converter (14) and diode. The control element realizes voltage adjustment for achieving constant voltage supply for an electrical component (16). The latter energy unit is formed as an energy storage e.g. rotation storage, accumulator and capacitor such as double layer capacitor. The fuel cell stack is connected parallel to the energy control element by a switching device.
