Method for operating a combustion engine involving changing from full engine operation to partial engine operation
DRIVE
October 3, 2012
The method involves loading combustion chambers with an air-fuel mixture in a full-engine operation. A subset of the chambers is loaded with the air-fuel mixture in partial-engine operation, where each chamber is associated with an individual air-fuel ratio to be adjusted. Another air-fuel ratio is associated to another subset of the chambers for the partial-engine operation and directly adjusted from the full-engine operation to the partial-engine operation. The individual air-fuel ratios are determined for the full-engine operation by a predetermined process.
