METHOD FOR CONTROLLING IN PARTICULAR THE IGNITION OF THE COMBUSTION OF A GASOLINE DIRECT INJECTION INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

The method involves determining operational zone of the engine (10) in which particulates are emitted during combustion of the fuel/air mixture. The fuel/air mixture resulting from indirect injection of a gaseous fuel is introduced into the combustion chamber for operation of the engine in determined zone.
