The drive train (10) has a heat engine (30) e.g. diesel engine or petrol engine, and an electric machine (50) for propelling a vehicle, and a main output shaft (105) for rotatably driving a wheel (110) of the vehicle. The electric machine is mechanically connected between a clutch output (100) of a clutch (90) i.e. one-way clutch, and the main output shaft. The heat engine comprises an engine shaft (40) that is directly connected to an input shaft (75) of a gearbox (70) e.g. stage-geared robotized gearbox. The gearbox comprises a set of pinions that assists formation of gear ratios. The gear ratio is defined as a ratio between rotational speed of the input shaft and rotational speed of an output shaft (80) of the gearbox.
