Power train for hybrid vehicle

The train (10) has a transmission shaft (120) driving a wheel (130) of a vehicle via a differential (140). An electric machine (50) e.g. generator, provides electric energy to another electric machine (70) for driving the vehicle. A heat engine (30) e.g. diesel engine, has an engine shaft (40) connected to a rotor of the former machine. The latter machine has a rotor connected to the engine shaft by a gear reducer (150). The reducer is positioned such that the reducer imposes rotation speed of the rotor of the latter machine, where the speed is greater than that of the transmission shaft.
