Lighting and/or signalling device with actuator opposite the device for controlling a light source

The device has a reflector (14) mounted pivotally around an axis (18) passing through a frame (13) and displaced around the axis by an actuator (23) integrated with the frame, where the device is divided into a first portion (21) and a second portion (20) by a plane (22) passing through a light source i.e. discharge lamp, and perpendicular to the axis. A control device (3) and the light source form a unitary assembly. The control device extends mainly into the second portion, and the actuator extends into the first portion.
