BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM, AND BRAKE CONTROL METHOD
DRIVE

Provided is a brake control system comprising: a friction brake unit for generating a frictional braking force; a regenerative brake unit for generating a regenerative braking force; and a control unit for controlling the regenerative brake unit and the friction brake unit on the basis of a regeneration target value and a friction target value, which are determined on the basis of a target deceleration, and for controlling a braking force by selecting any of control modes containing a regeneration allowance mode, in which a total braking force is generated by the regenerative braking force and the frictional braking force, and a regeneration inhibition mode, in which the target deceleration is generated by the frictional braking force. The control unit gives a delay in the regeneration allowance mode, thereby generating a total braking force, and gives less delay than said delay or no delay on the frictional braking force in the regeneration inhibition mode.
