Drive unit with an electric machine and a clutch

The drive unit (10) has a rotatable rotor (26) that is arranged along the radial direction axis (A) of stator (20) of electric machine (12). A receiving space (32) is formed in the rotor-stator assembly. A clutch (14) is located within the receiving space of stator-rotor assembly. The input shaft (50) of clutch is connected to the rotor shaft (38). The clutch is actuated by a lockout element (16).
