Fuel injector

The fuel injector has a nozzle needle (1), which is controlled in a high-pressure bore (2) of a nozzle body (3) for releasing or closing an injection opening. A guiding section (5) is formed at the nozzle needle. The nozzle needle is manufactured for reducing a leakage through a guiding gap (6) in an area of the guide section of a material.
