Fuel injector

The fuel injector has a bore (8,12), which leads in the valve chamber (6) through an axial gap (10) formed between the valve plate (5) and the throttle plate (7). The throttle effect of a throttle (11,14) is influenced by the height of the axial gap. A nozzle needle (2) is provided, which is guided in the nozzle body (1) for closing and releasing an injection opening formed in the nozzle body.
