Rod for a collapsible roof

The arm has a drive arm (30) for connecting a roof side support (6) and/or a roof cap (7) of a folding roof (1) with a main bearing (15). A coupling arm (25) and a hinge rod (20) influence pivoting movement of an edge roof carline (11). The coupling arm has an end connected with the carline and another end pivotably secured at the drive arm by a bearing (29). The hinge rod is made of plastic or metal and displaceably attached at the coupling arm, where a free end of the hinge rod is swingably supported at the main bearing. A stop damper is made of elastomer.
