Door edge protection device

The device (3) has an operating element (8) i.e. Bowden cable, a draw bar (6) and a bearing part (4) that comprises a connecting rod (5). An end of the draw bar comprises a protection strip (7) in a region of an edge (2) of a vehicle door (1). A leg (11) is swingably connected with the operating element through a rear bolt (12), and middle bolts (13) are movably supported in the rod. The leg is swingably connected with the draw bar through front bolts (14). The bearing part includes a guide pin (18), and the draw bar includes a guide link (17), where the draw bar is moved around the pin.
