The method involves installing a rubber bearing (3) on a stabilizer (2) that post-vulcanizes the rubber bearing. Temperature necessary for post vulcanization is produced by hot-air, where different temperature distributions are realized with a hot air blower (6). Process of a temperature profile is controlled by a sensor, and temperature of the rubber bearing, temperature of the hot-air or temperature at the stabilizer is measured by the sensor. A heat shield is provided between the stabilizer and an entrance to the hot air blower. An independent claim is also included for a device for post vulcanization of a rubber bearing on a stabilizer of a motor vehicle.
