The method involves providing vulcanized elastomer metal bearing half-cases (3) of stabilizer bearing (S). The stabilizer bearing portion (2) of stabilizer (1) is pre-treated. The stabilizer and bearing half-cases are inserted into a joining device. The bearing half-cases are bonded with the stabilizer bearing portion.
