Reversable tilt prevention device for vehicles

The device (8a) has a supporting body (2a) connectable with a motor vehicle (1) and adjustable between a vehicle-near resting position and a vehicle-remote support position. A drive unit i.e. electromotive or hydraulic drive, displaces the body between the resting position and the support position. The drive unit is controlled by a control unit such that displacement of the body towards the support position is caused in case of imminent tipping of the vehicle and reverse movement of the body into the resting position is caused after completion of a supporting process.
